La chanteuse et compositrice new yorkaise Dahlia Dumont, leader du groupe « The Blue Dahlia », récemment installée à Paris, crée son orchestre de swing (et blues). 

Accompagnée par Marc Bizzini (piano), Benjamin Chabert (contrebasse), Lenny Barouk (batterie), et le saxophoniste et clarinettiste César Poirier, Dahlia chante des classiques du swing franco-américain de 1900 jusqu’à aujourd’hui, de la Nouvelle Orléans à Harlem avec une escale à Paris. Avec sa voix « soulfull », Dahlia se ballade entre l’émotion, la puissance, et l’allégresse d’Ella, Billie, Nina, Louis, Bessie Smith, Sinatra, avec une petite accent sur Piaf, Trenet et Dassin, et même quelques mélodies de ses propres compositions.

New York singer-songwriter Dahlia Dumont, leader of the group "The Blue Dahlia", recently installed in Paris, creates her swing (and blues) orchestra. 

Accompanied by Marc Bizzini (piano), Benjamin Chabert (double bass), Lenny Barouk (drums), and saxophonist and clarinetist César Poirier, Dahlia sings French-American swing classics from 1900 to today, from New Orleans to Harlem with a layover in Paris. With her soulful voice, Dahlia wanders amidst the emotions, the power, and the playfulness of Ella, Billie, Nina, Louis, Bessie Smith, Sinatra, with a little American accent on Piaf, Trenet and Dassin, and even some melodies from his own compositions.
